Boat test from Multihulls World #30 (june/july 1995)
We discovered this new F 18 on Chatellailon beach near La Rochelle in early September 1994 during a week of long distance racing (see MW n°25). Around the fluctuating and often controversial Formula 18 rules, the English wanted to obtain a foothold in what has beenup to now monopilised by Mattias.

Dart Hawk 18 F1 Catamaran
This is a Dart Hawk Catermaran sail number 858. 5.5M long. It is being sold by Teignmouth Yacht Club. It was donated to the club to raise funds for a new safety boat. It was brought into the country by its previous owner from Switzerland.
As far as we know it was sailed on a fresh water lake. The sails are as new. They look and feel as though they have never been used. The running rigging is all top quality Harken and also looks unused. The boat is in excellent all round condition with only a few minor signs of wear.
The boat has not been on the water since it was brought into this country. There is no Trailer or launching trolley with this boat. Bidders are advised to look the boat over. This can be done by arrangement. I have more pics if required.
We can help with delivery. The boat was transported here dismantled. The only parts we have not found are the jib and spinnaker sheets. Payment should be £100 deposit by whatever means and the balance on collection which can be cash or direct transfer to the club. More info from phoneOn 17-Feb-17 at 08:56:53 GMT, seller added the following information: In answer to a question about signs of wear are - Small area of gelcoat damage on top rear of one hull, easily repared.
Very small area of gelcoat damage to the side of one bow again very minor Some very small chips to laeding edge of rudders Small dent at bottom of mast These defect are most likely caused during transport and or storage as the boat clearly has had little use.
